Baseball

We were so excited when Our Little Man Cub's uncles all signed up to play baseball .. not just because they have great soft pretzels, but because the field is less than a mile from our house!!! It was so much fun to walk down to the field and watch them all play baseball. Here are a few pics (that I am stealing off of my mom's computer :) ). It looks like the Little Man Cub is ready to join the game!

Day Trip!

About once a month we try to go on a fun day trip. We have been going to the aquarium a lot since you can go rain or shine and we have a pass, but with the beautiful weather we wanted to enjoy the great outdoors! So we packed up Our Little Man Cub and went for a hike and then hit the beach. While hiking we saw a snake, a deer (with two fawns), and a ton of squirrels and birds :) and to finish it off we enjoyed a wonderful picnic! At the beach we discovered that the Little Man Cub loves the sand (but he doesn't eat it!!!). To finish of the evening we ate clam chowder at a beach side restaurant and flew a kite.

Happy Father's Day!

My Little Man Cub has been so blessed to have so many wonderful men in his life, and Father's day is a wonderful time to stop and reflect on these wonderful men!

First he has his father.... Peter is such an awesome dad. He is working two jobs so that I can stay home to take care of the man cub. But he never complains! He works and comes straight home to be with our little man cub. What an awesome role model!!

Second he has Grandpa Pat. Peter's dad is so good with our little man cub. He never complains when he is fussy; he is willing to walk him for hours on end - which was greatly appreciated during his dairy upset period!!

Third is Grandpa Frank ... my dad was so wonderful to me as a child and he has had no problem expanding that awesomeness to include the little man cub. He is willing to redo all the baby stuff around his house that was in disrepair so that our little man cub can have lots of fun stuff to do at his house.

and last, but definitely not least is his Great-Grandpa. We were so lucky that our little man cub was able to meet his Great-Grandpa before he passed away and we will always use him as an example of a wonderful husband and father so that our little man cub has something to strive for!!

I finally figured out how to get a video on my blog!! I have done it before, but than blogger changed everything and I couldn't figure the new format out. Anyways .. problem solved! Here is a video of our little man cub enjoying the fishes swim by.

I have a new action that is supposed to make blogging easier ... I don't know? here is the pic I hope it turns out okay!

I am so crafty :)

I know that this is a very silly post, but I love crafts!! I saw some super cute sandals at Target, but everybody has them (or at least 2 of my sisters do!). So, I decided to get a little crafty and make my own super cute sandals. Here are the step by step directions ...

1. take boring black sandals

2. get some craft glue

3. and some pretty sparkles :)

4. put them all together ... and you get super cute sandals!!

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming ...

One of the best investments we have made as a family is an Aquarium Yearly pass. Our little man cub loves watching the fish! Here are some cute pictures of hem enjoying the fishes as they just keep swimming :)
