Beach!!!

DH decided to surprise me with an early anniversary present!! I finally have a new point and shoot camera. I  don't need it, but it's really nice to not lug around my big dSLR especially to the beach. 

We have been to the beach a couple times this year already, but I didn't get any pictures because I didn't have a beach friendly camera. So with my new camera in hand we headed to the beach yesterday to join my parents on their vacation!!! My boys had so much fun playing in the water with their Uncles and Man Cub made fast friends with his second cousin M :) So much fun!!!

Beauty and the Beast

All of my husbands little nieces were in a dance show this weekend. It was an adorable "Beauty and the Beast";  Cousin I was a snowflake, cousin E was a sheep, and cousins S & A were pigs. I have to say this is is the first time I've been sad that there is no sequin in my boys future :) the little piggies danced to Justin Bieber's "O baby, baby" (I think that's what its called) and I couldn't stop smiling (and laughing a little) it was so adorable; cousin S was so serious and didn't miss a step while cousin A didn't care about such 

frivolous things as steps and concentrated singing and wagging her little piggy tail!! SO CUTE!!!

 Man Cub actually loved the show and was so excited to meet Belle afterwards (not that you can tell by the look on his face in the picture -stinker kid)

Randomness :)

I have a seriously hard time remembering to bring anything with me that doesn't fit in my diaper bag. Not that I don't want to use my nice, big, fancy camera ... it's just that when Chunky Monkey spits up all over me its not much help :) 

so I have a small point and shoot that fits perfectly in my diaper bag, but it broke :( 

sorry for all the emoticon faces ;) 

 So I have been wondering around without a camera to capture all the wonderful things my kids do!!! and I do what all good moms do, use my phone.

5 Years!!

Tomorrow is DH and my 5 year anniversary!! I can't believe we have been married for 5 years. We have grown so much in the last 5 years and yet we are still the same funny couple we were at the beginning :)

Father's Day!!

Well, It's that time of year again ... time to celebrate the awesome men in our lives!! I know I say it every year, but it is still true :) My boys have been blessed with some awesome men in their lives. 

Their father is such a wonderful dad. They both love him so much! As soon as Man Cub 

hears the keys in the door he go RUNNING and jumps into DH arms :)

The boys love their Granpo and Man Cub has already figured out that if 

he is patient he can get all sorts of yummy things from him!

Grandpa is so awesome with the boys. Poor Chunky Monkey tends to get a little fussy in the 

evening, so Grandpa wraps him up and takes him outside and rocks him til he feels all better!

Thank you all for being a part of the boys lives and being WONDERFUL DADS!!!

Farm with Cousins

We were so excited to visit a local farm with cousins. These two lovely mommies are actually my cousins and it is so fun that we are all mommies together now!! Man Cub had so much fun running around with his new "friends" :) and took the best nap afterward!! 

Time with Uncle M

My boys are so lucky to have uncles! Especially young uncles who think its cool to hang out and play with them for an evening :) My mom was hosting a birthday dinner for my sister and her in-laws and my brother thought it sounded like more fun to hang out at my house then deal with adult conversation all evening! I have to say I have always wondered how people manage with older and younger kids ... its not half bad :) I got so much done with an extra set of arms; he played play-dough while I did dishes, he shoot hoops while I changed diapers, he watched them in the tub while I put away laundry, etc. I'm thinking Uncle M should come over more often!!

Lucky Chunky Monkey

It's a pretty well known fact that I keep my camera in my diaper bag in case of emergencies :) So when I downloaded my pictures the other day I found these from my and DH date night. Isn't my chunky monkey one lucky little man? Who else has a grandpa that will brave the cold just to make them happy?!?!

Helping Daddy

The Ivy in the backyard has gotten out of hand!! It is seriously growing up into the trees, along the fences, and onto the lawn. So I asked DH to start yanking some of it out for me. Man Cub was super excited to help daddy :) he would pick a leaf, climb onto the stool, and throw it away. It might take awhile to get all the Ivy cleaned up at that pace :)
