10 interesting things about me

My mom was tagged in one of these games, so she tagged me :) I have never done one so I will do my best to keep it interesting!

10. Everything has to have a place. I don't like things lying around the house that don't belong somewhere. I will usually throw it away :)

9. I can raise one eyebrow and do an "I Love Lucy" ewww lip

8. I have taken almost every type of dance class (ballroom, ballet, tap, Irish, jazz, modern, hip hop, etc)

7. I love to teach myself new things (blogging, sewing, photography, baking, etc), but I would do anything to avoid being a student again!

6. I am an ambidextrous eater. When I lived at home and all of us would squeeze around the table my sisters used to fight over who got to sit next to me because they never had to bump elbows with me they would just ask me to switch hands.

5. I make awesome Funfetti Cupcakes!

4. I like food based on texture not taste.

3. I read Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin at least once a year.

Hmmmm .... I am running out of things to say about myself!!

2. I don't drink any caffeine. I stopped drinking caffeine when I was 17 and haven't since. Well I actually did once, but I got so jittery I swore never again!

1. I have the most wonderful husband and an absolutely adorable son!!

A Year in Review

This last year has been such a whirlwind!! I feel like our Little Man Cub grew up and that I somehow missed it :( He is so much fun and absolutly adorable!! so I went through some old pictures to see how much my little man cub has grown and came up with a year in review. Enjoy!

I have no idea!!

I was doing some house work the other day while my Little Man Cub was playing. I heard him yelling at me from the patio and when I walked around the corner this is what I found.

I still have no idea how he got in there! He didn't seem to upset about it; he just wanted out :)

Birthday Present!

Me and my wonderful hubby debated for a long time about what we should get our little man cub for his 1st birthday. We finally decided that he really wasn't going to remember so we should get him something that he would use everyday. So I found some foam mats (thanks for the help Auntie Jen) at costco and used them to make a play area for our little man cub out on the patio. I am so glad we decided on a play area because he spends every day out there and has gotten way more use out of it than any toy we could have bought!!

and it's even better now because Grandma and Grandpa got our Little Man Cub a table and chairs to finish it off!!

1st birthday beach bash!

For our Little Man Cub's birthday I went simple, we had a beach day. It was perfect. I didn't have to provide anything! I showed up early to stake out a great spot on the beach then we just layed back and enjoyed the day with our wonderful family and friends!!
