Doctor's Visit

Chunky Monkey had a well baby appointment last month and I was super brave and took both boys all by myself!!! Chunky Monkey was awesome, he weighed in at the 75th percentile and his weight was in the 90th percentile. The best part was when Man Cub stood at the table watching .. he was very concerned about what the doctor was doing to his baby :)  

Rainy Day

The Man Cub went outside to play yesterday and I didn't realize it had started raining! Well, he didn't mind ... in fact he loved it. I couldn't get him to come inside :) it worked great for me. I had stuff to get done and he played happily for 30 minutes!

The Elves and the Shoe Maker

My adorable cousins and a family friend where in the play The Elves and The Shoe Maker! The Man Cub had never been to a play and I thought it would be fun to take him. I had visions of needing to leave early, bribing and so many other bad things .... but he LOVED it!!! thats right my Man Cub loves theater :) he sat mesmerized for an hour. 

Embrace the Camera

I'm joining Emily for Embrace the Camera again :) I am super proud of myself for being in more than one picture this month; this is some sort of record for me!!

I pulled my camera out the other day to get a picture of these adorable little boys playing together! The Man Cub insists on having the Chunky Monkey share all of his toys. Luckily the Chunky Monkey is good at sharing :)

Aren't those the most adorable chubby cheeks ever? You don't need to answer that; I know they are :)

The Man Cub decided he wanted a picture with me and for once I obliged :) Not to bad ... I love the Man Cub's smile it's so adorable!!

A Jungle Book Room

When we found out we were expecting our Little Man Cub in 2009 one of the things I most looked forward to was decorating a nursery! Unfortunately a nursery wasn't in the cards; we were living in a one bedroom apartment and really couldn't afford to move :( but no worries I got super inventive and come up with this cute little corner for our Man Cub!

His personalized bedding made by my sister-in-law's awesome mom!! My mother-in-law even switched out the original animals on the mobile to these Jungle book ones :)

My Elfa Shelves over the changing table ... with dollar store baskets to hold socks, pacifiers, and diapering things!

Well, when we moved to our new place I waited on pins and needles to find out if baby #2 was going to be a boy or a girl ... why you ask? because the kiddos had their own room and I wanted to get decorating! When the ultrasound technician announced it was a boy I couldn't wait to get started on the room. I decided to keep the Jungle Book theme, and just add some fun touches ... anyways here it is :)
