I have no idea!!

I was doing some house work the other day while my Little Man Cub was playing. I heard him yelling at me from the patio and when I walked around the corner this is what I found.

I still have no idea how he got in there! He didn't seem to upset about it; he just wanted out :)

Birthday Present!

Me and my wonderful hubby debated for a long time about what we should get our little man cub for his 1st birthday. We finally decided that he really wasn't going to remember so we should get him something that he would use everyday. So I found some foam mats (thanks for the help Auntie Jen) at costco and used them to make a play area for our little man cub out on the patio. I am so glad we decided on a play area because he spends every day out there and has gotten way more use out of it than any toy we could have bought!!

and it's even better now because Grandma and Grandpa got our Little Man Cub a table and chairs to finish it off!!

1st birthday beach bash!

For our Little Man Cub's birthday I went simple, we had a beach day. It was perfect. I didn't have to provide anything! I showed up early to stake out a great spot on the beach then we just layed back and enjoyed the day with our wonderful family and friends!!

OUR LITTLE MAN CUB is ONE!!!!

This post is a little late, but I am busy chasing after a one year old!! Yes my man cub is one. He is getting so big! He is 30 inches long, weighs 20 pounds, eats everything, walks, takes his pants off (I don't think its a good thing, but its interesting), knows what the word no means, loves playing with daddy, doesn't nurse anymore :( , is in a big boy carseat, loves to empty things out, and did I mention he is ONE YEAR OLD!!! I can't believe how quickly this last year has gone by. I took so many pictures and yet I feel that I didn't take enough. I look at him laying in his crib at night and can't believe this huge child is my little baby. I have had so much fun this last year getting to know my little man cub and watching him develop into such a fun little boy. I am so excited for this next year and all that it will hold for my One Year Old Man Cub!!!

So one of the things I have learned being a mom is the importance of getting a break. I know we all want to be supermom's who can do everything and never get tired, never feel overwhelmed, and always love being around our children, but lets get real!! Peter has been working a lot, so breaks have been a little scarce. When I got an invite to a mommy's night out I called up my sister and asked for a favor.

Luckily for me she thought I was doing her the favor :) Auntie Michelle and Uncle Chris love to spend time with our Little Man Cub and were more than happy to help me get some time out. Here are a few pictures I found on my camera of my Little Man Cub enjoying all the attention.
